Terminology
Discount Type (Percentage)
A benefit that discounts or accrues a certain percentage of a product's price when the product is purchased. Depending on this discount/mileage type, the actual purchase price or the perceived amount from accrual varies through a discount or mileage accrual. Because the percentage-based method causes the actual purchase amount to vary relative to the product's price, the higher the product's price, the greater the benefit amount received can be.

Reverse Margin
Refers to a case in which the product's selling price minus the applied benefit amount is greater than or equal to the product's supply cost, resulting in a loss even when the product is sold.
A reverse margin must always be checked for immediate product discount or employee discount benefits.

Discounts can be applied in 1-won increments, and any amount under 1 won is rounded. Promotions are recalculated only when a claim is filed before all products in the order have shipped. To prevent a 0-won payment, coupons/discounts with a discount amount greater than the selling price cannot be used.
